Yr 6 Aspiration Day

On Tuesday 23rd May 6AS travelled to The University of Warwick for an Aspiration day. The idea of the day is to give the children a taste of what a university is like and that they can aspire to be anything they want to be. They visited the Economics department where they learnt about how recycling can affect the economy of the world. Followed by a visit to the physics department where they learnt about UV light and throughout the day they visited a variety of sculpture installments. The sculptures were used to give them inspiration for when they created their own sculpture. The children were amazing, representing Park Lane in a way that made all the teaching staff extremely proud. We’d like to give a big thank-you to the university for a brilliant experience.
