Mrs Carrie Clare
As the Head of Park Lane Primary School and Nursery, it is a real pleasure and privilege to welcome you to our school website.
We are proud of our thriving and vibrant school where children feel happy, safe and motivated to achieve endless possibilities. The children are the heartbeat of the school and every decision is made with this very much in mind. Through our engaging values based curriculum, we ensure that children can foster a passion for learning and curiosity that will help to develop high aspirations and a lifetime of happy memories. Children feel confident to express their individuality, their talents and know that success in any aspect of their lives will be rewarded and celebrated.
As teachers, our work begins by nurturing the many qualities and skills that you have fostered at home. We believe in working with you to encourage your child to achieve high academic standards, to be confident, courteous, responsible and independent. We will help to instil a sense of right and wrong, respect and tolerance for others and self discipline.
Everything we do is based around The Griffin Schools Trust three pillars of learning: High Achievement, Wide Horizons and Proud Traditions. This ensures that children develop in every respect and maximise their experience of school.
Our ‘menu’ of after school extra curricular clubs is extensive and exciting, allowing children to explore thrilling opportunities that will help to develop well-rounded and enthusiastic citizens of the future.
We would love you to visit us so do come and experience the welcoming ethos of our school. Discover for yourself how our confident and inquisitive children are challenged and nurtured as they develop the skills to equip them for their journey as lifelong learners. Your children are very precious and ensuring their safety, wellbeing and enjoyment for learning is our priority.
It is our vision that the children who leave Park Lane are happy, confident and secure young people, eager to learn and ready for the next steps.
I look forward to meeting you
Mrs C Clare
