Covid Update
As you may be aware from the news, there has been a further change to the guidance around isolation dates. From Monday 17th January 22,’ if you have tested positive for Covid-19, you can commence with an LFD on Day 5. You then take a LFD at the same time on Day 5 and Day 6 and if both of these tests return as negative, you can stop isolation immediately and return to school. If one of these tests is positive, you can repeat the process daily – ensuring that the tests are taken 24 hours apart – until you either receive 2 consecutive negative results or have completed the full 10 day isolation period. These test should be logged with the NHS. We have amended the diagram attached to reflect this to ensure that the guidance is clear for all.
As always, we will remain vigilant with any symptoms of Covid-19 appearing within children and trust the you will work alongside us with this. We welcome our families to wear masks/shields when operating through the one-way system in an attempt to prevent the spread further. Please rest assured that with guidance changing so frequently, we always endeavour to get this communicated to our Family in an efficient, quick manner and are always available to discuss it, should you need any further advice.
